writings
A Marvel fanfiction I published on Wattpad, following the daughter of Tony Stark (also known as Iron Man). It has over 188,000 reads in over 60 countries. I finished it when I was 17, and my writing has grown a lot since, but I'm still proud of the engagement and connections it has formed.
An essay I wrote for an English class about how perceptions of the average homeschooler's academic inclinations often lowball their abilities and success in terms of collegiate study.
For English during my senior year of high school, I had to read classics and then write fanfiction of them. This is a story about Manderley, the house from "Rebecca" by Daphne du Maurier.
A piece I wrote about a world in which vampires exist . . . and live in zoos.
A short story I wrote for a fiction writing class, following a young girl's trials and tribulations in the world of figure skating.
A piece from an Advanced Fiction Writing exercise in which we had to fictionalize and expand upon an anecdote from family or friends.
A snippet I wrote for a sci-fi/fantasy writing class exercise, in which we could not use dialogue.
